The Biewer Terrier Registry of America is dedicated to building a reliable, accurate data base for the verification and registration of purebred Biewer Terrier dogs and puppies in America. We are passionate about building a solid foundation for the advancement and betterment of the Biewer Terrier. For this reason all breeders submitting an application to BTRA for registration of their Biewer Terrier shall be deemed thereby to have read and agreed to be bound by the BTCA code of ethics. This code of conduct will be used to evaluate a person's right to register their dogs/puppies with BTRA.

Our goal is to give our breeders better tools to help them create superior Biewer Terrier Puppies.... the best in health, temperament, structure, and overall quality. Achieving this goal will result in those wishing to add a Biewer Terrier to their lives, having a greater chance of receiving a Biewer Terrier Puppy that will live to be a ripe old age and free from long term health issues from any of our top quality BTRA Biewer Terrier Breeders.

The BTCA and BTRA were founded and exist for the protection of the Biewer Terrier and not for any individual personal gratification or short term financial gain. As with any evolutionary association of a newly established breed, we will continue to make any necessary changes and adjustments for the benefit of our breed.

The Biewer Terrier Registry will not accept IBC registrations on dogs born in America as of Jan 2009 that have not been DNA profiled and Mars tested. If you are purchasing a puppy, ask that the puppy be registered with a reputable Biewer Terrier registry before purchasing. If the Biewer Terrier registry does not require parentage profiling, then it is unacceptable. The purebred Biewer Terrier must have a strong, healthy, solid foundation to thrive in America and BTRA is doing everything it can to see that this happens.
