There are 3 clubs that are showing the Biewer Terrier. We have provided a link to these sites so that you can look them over to see which one would be better suited for you.

We are very proud of all our Members and their Biewer Terriers. They are considered amongst the best in the country and we encourage everyone to try to make it to the shows.

ARBA

The mission of the American Rare Breed Association
is to serve and protect the "Rare Breed Dog" here in the United States.  To promote and educate the public dog fancier about over 130 or more breeds from around the world that are not now recognized by the major kennel club of the United States, the American Kennel Club.

We are proud to announce our acceptance into ARBA. Since it is our goal to gain AKC acceptance for the Biewer Terrier as a breed of it's own, we feel this has been a major accomplishment for us towards that recognition.

With the information that we provided ARBA, they have made the determination that we are a breed of our own. We urge all our members to use ARBA when showing their dogs, as we feel ARBA is using the standard that best fits the Biewer Terrier.
If the other show venues are not using the standard we are, then our progress is being limited.

The International All Breed
Canine Association of America

The International All Breed Canine Association of America (IABCA) began more than twenty years ago with the intent of making an International "UCI" Championship Title available to the American public while not exposing the dogs to the danger and inconvenience of international travel. To accomplish this, an association was formed with an International Association of dog clubs headquartered in Germany, the Union Cynologie International (UCI). The UCI organization has been in existence for over 30 years. There are many countries, throughout Europe, North America and the Far East, represented in the association, making it a truly International Organization. Through this International Organization (UCI), International Titles are awarded to dogs who meet the requirements.

The IABCA is another show venue using an accepted standard of the BTCA, Inc. This standard was signed by Mrs. Biewer in 2007 when the BTCA, Inc. helped the IABCA get the Biewer fully accepted with the UCI as an independant breed.

The BTCA, Inc. is also a reputable member and authorised representative of the UCI.

Union Cynologie International e.V.

The BTCA, INC. has crossed another milestone.
We have won acceptance into the family of the UCI e.V. - Union Cynologie International e. V. (UCI e.V.) . This is a great achievement for the club as we are now authorized to award International Championships to all dogs that have earned their show points.

The BTCA is striving to make these titles prestigious and will be issuing them to dogs that fit the standard and are worthy of being named show dogs.
